ISTT and Isfahan Municipality to Expand Cooperation

ISTT President and a number of ISTT managers met with the mayor of Isfahan and his deputies during their visit to ISTT to discuss ways of expanding cooperation between ISTT technology companies and Isfahan municipality.

Dr. Jafar Ghaisari introduced some of the achievements of technology companies and presented a report on the activities of some companies active in urban services. He expressed satisfaction over the high potential of these companies for implementing major urban projects and added that the municipalities and specially Isfahan Municipality should support them and trust in the local technologies developed by them.

ISTT President further emphasized on ISTT and its tenant companies’ readiness for cooperation in developing the city of Isfahan.

Isfahan Mayor, Dr. Nouroozi also expressed satisfaction on his visit to ISTT and said that this cooperation can alleviate many of the technological needs of the municipality. He further elaborated on municipality’s strategies to follow and develop high technologies and creating a smart city.

An MOU was then signed by the two parts for expanding cooperation to develop knowledge-based economy, to strengthen the potentials of Isfahan metropolitan city through innovation and technology-based activities with the emphasis on increasing the international role of the city.

The meeting was ended with presentations of a number of the companies and field visits to their sites.
