Iranian Scientific attachés visit ISTT

Two newly appointed Iranian scientific attachés visited Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) on the 25th of January 2023. Dr. Mehryar and Dr. Sarraf are in office as Scientific attaches to ASEAN countries, Oceania, China, Japan and Korea.
The two delegates were briefed about the ISTT activities and IRIS services. Moreover, the commercial potentials of the companies settled in ISTT were introduced. The attachés were also asked to represent ISTT in Scientific and technical matters to foreign industries and help forge formal ties between Iranian entrepreneurs and their counterparts.
The attachés committed themselves to promote IRIS- Isfahan Regional Center for Technology Incubators and Science Park Development- and its mission in the host countries and to facilitate the collaboration between IRIS and the STPs needing technical and governance assistance in the above-mentioned countries.
A follow-up meeting was also held a week later with the presence of the attachés as well as the Director of “Iran’s International Science and Technology Cooperation office in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization”. This meeting had been organized for some of the tenant companies to express their concerns.
