ISTT holds the 17th National Sheikh Bahai Technopreneurship Festival

The 17th Sheikh Bahai National Technopreneurship Festival was held on the 10th and 11th of May 2023 at Abbasi Hotel in Isfahan. The event was hosted and organized by Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) and with the support and co-organization of Isfahan Regional Center for Technology Incubator and Science Park Development (IRIS) under the auspices of UNESCO.

This festival which aims at disseminating culture of creativity, innovation and technopreneurship, encompasses all technopreneurial fields of science and technology including healthcare and medical equipment, technical and engineering sciences, agriculture, ICT, Robotics, steel and new materials, etc. It was intended to provide companies with investment opportunities in the technology development of Iran, and the introduction of these opportunities to investors, and businesspeople.

This year the festival incorporated several programs including a panel discussion on “Business Growth Strategic Challenges” with the presence of notable panelists from different parts of the country, Investment Opportunities, sessions dedicated to knowledge and experience sharing under the themes of “Success Story”. A workshop was also held at the sideline of the event presented by an international speaker and trainer from Portugal on “Global Success Beyond Hard Skills”.

The competitive section of the 17^th Sheikh Bahai festival was held on the second day of the event and the finalists were announced and awarded. Out of 490 plans received for the competitive section, 25 business plans were awarded.

In general, the two-day festival provided a comprehensive competitive and non-competitive platform for interested parties to present their ideas and companies.
