On February 14th, 2024, Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) welcomed a delegation from Tatarstan, led by the Minister of Education and Science, Ilsur Khadiullin, and the First Deputy of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Facilitated by the Isfahan Provincial Government, this visit was organized to promote Iran’s dynamic knowledge-based ecosystem.
Following an insightful introduction of ISTT's endeavors and successful ventures by the Director of the International and Scientific Cooperation Department, Minister Ilsur Khadiullin highlighted Tatarstan's efforts to establish science and technology parks across its cities. He underscored the creation of a new hub in Tatarstan, educating students from diverse countries. Additionally, he emphasized on the favorable conditions for technology companies to thrive and expand in Tatarstan.
Artur Nikolaev, Tatarstan’s First Deputy of the Chamber of Commerce, expressed keen interest in fostering commercial partnerships with Iran, extending an invitation for ISTT to explore Tatarstan’s Science Parks. With the recent enhancements in transportation infrastructure in Tatarstan, Nikolaev foresaw promising prospects for product commercialization between the two regions.
Ghasem Moslehi, President of ISTT, warmly greeted the delegation, reaffirming ISTT's commitment to nurturing collaboration with Tatarstan. Moslehi eagerly proposed an exchange of knowledge and expertise, while extending an invitation for the delegation to partake in the upcoming 18th round of the Sheikh Bahai Technopreneurship Festival in May 2024. This event, Moslehi emphasized, would offer unparalleled insight into Iran’s burgeoning technology ecosystem.
