• Dr. Abtahi appointed as new ISTT President

The Minister of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT) has appointed Dr. Seyed Mehdi Abtahi as the new President of Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT)

H.E. Dr. Hossein Simaei Sarraf, Minister of SRT, has appointed Dr. Seyed Mehdi Abtahi as the President of Isfahan Science and Technology Town.

Dr. Abtahi, born in 1965, holds a PhD degree in Civil Engineering and is an associate professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology. He has published over 130 research articles in reputable national and international journals, completed more than 45 research projects with industries, registered 5 patents, and authored 3 books.

Notably, his executive experience includes serving as the President of Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Vice President for Student Affairs and Culture, and Vice President for Research and Technology at IUT.

He previously held the position of Presidency at ISTT in 2018.
