ISTT President Appointed to the Board of Trustees of the ICT Technology Park

Dr. Seyed Mehdi Abtahi, President of Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT), has been appointed as an individual member of the Board of Trustees of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Technology Park by decree of Dr. Hossein Simayi, Minister of Science, Research, and Technology.

The ICT Technology Park operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology and serves as a specialized hub for supporting emerging technologies, facilitating the commercialization of innovative ideas, and fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and government.

This four-year appointment aims to strengthen inter-agency cooperation and leverage scientific and technological capacities to advance the digital economy and next-generation technologies.

Dr. Abtahi is widely recognized in Iran’s innovation and technology ecosystem and has played a prominent role in shaping national science and technology policy. He has been instrumental in supporting knowledge-based companies and developing the country’s innovation landscape.

Over the past three decades, ISTT has emerged as a national leader in technology development, thanks to its diverse initiatives and sustained commitment to innovation.

Previously, Dr. Abtahi was also appointed by Mr. Mehdi Jamalinejad, Governor of Isfahan Province, as a member of the Steering Council for the Provincial Artificial Intelligence and Software Movement Taskforce.
