ISTT Appointed as National Secretariat for Empowering Science and Technology Park Managers

Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) has been officially designated as the National Secretariat for Human Resource Training and Empowerment to cultivate professional and specialized managers for science and technology parks across Iran.

This appointment was made by Dr. Mohammad-Nabi Shahiki Tash, Deputy Minister for Technology and Innovation at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, in line with national science and technology development policies and the goals of Iran’s Seventh Development Plan.

In his official letter addressed to ISTT’s President, Dr. Shahiki Tash stated:

“Based on the country’s strategic science and technology development policies, and in pursuit of the Seventh Development Plan’s objectives to train the next generation of science and technology park managers—and considering ISTT’s valuable experience and robust infrastructure, you are hereby appointed as the National Secretariat for Human Resource Training and Empowerment for this purpose.”

He further expressed hope that ISTT would leverage national and international capacities and engage leading experts in technology and innovation management to successfully nurture future leaders of Iran’s innovation ecosystem.

Over the past two decades, ISTT has played a pioneering role in establishing and advancing science and technology parks in Iran. The Town has organized numerous national and international training programs focused on empowering managers and experts from incubators and innovation centers, as well as familiarizing them with operational processes for supporting tech-based enterprises.
