ISTT Announces New Appointment for the International and Scientific Cooperation Department

Ehsan Yazdian, President of Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT), has appointed Dr. Esmaeil Mehryar as the Director of the International and Scientific Cooperation department.

The appointment is aimed at strengthening ISTT’s scientific and technological engagement with international institutions and expanding the organization’s activities in the field of technology diplomacy and international cooperation.

Dr. Mehryar brings extensive experience in international academic relations to his new position. He has previously served as Iran’s Scientific Counselor and Supervisor of Iranian Students in China, Japan, and South Korea. He is also a faculty member at Isfahan University of Technology.

Previously, this department was headed by Mozhgan Yazdianpour for more than 30 years. Following her retirement, she has continued to serve as the Director of the Regional Center for the Development of Incubators and Science and Technology Parks (IRIS).

The International Scientific Cooperation Department, is one of the ISTT’s strategic units, playing a significant role in fostering and expanding its scientific, technological, and international collaborations.

Its responsibilities include fostering cooperation between resident technology companies and research institutions, science and technology parks, business incubators, and international organizations. The group also supports technology-based enterprises in expanding their international networks and facilitates their access to global markets and collaboration opportunities.

Through strengthening international partnerships and promoting technology diplomacy, ISTT continues to advance its mission of supporting innovation-driven companies and enhancing their global competitiveness.
