ISTT and IRIS to help establish an international science park in Bosnia

Two science park representatives from Bosnia made a two-day visit to Isfahan Science and Technology town (ISTT) on the 1st and 2nd of June 2022. This visit was organized for the Bosnian representative due to the Bosnia’s interest in the Iranian Science Parks and innovation ecosystem.
During the first day meeting and after a comprehensive presentation about ISTT activities, the representatives were briefed on the activities of Isfahan Regional Center for Technology Incubator and Science Park Development (IRIS) and services that this UNESCO Center provides to other countries.
Moreover, the technical assistance which IRIS can provide for establishing an international science park in Bosnia and the technology transfer activities between the two countries were investigated.
On the following day, a meeting was held between the Bosnian representatives and 14 successful Knowledge-based companies located in ISTT to present the activities of ISTT companies and introduce their products. The meeting was aimed at facilitating technology transfer to Bosnia and to share the best practices.
